Living by the Quay
The development of Marievik is creating a new district teeming with life from morning to night. Offices, restaurants, cultural venues, floating baths, and green spaces come together to form a vibrant whole, but it’s the people who make the area a truly lively destination. With new residences from JM and Klövern, Marievik becomes a neighborhood to really live in – where everyday life takes center stage, where meetings happen naturally, and where the light from homes illuminates the streets long after office hours.

The Mary Quarter
JM’s first residential block in Marievik is called Mary, located on Marievik’s Udde with a unique waterfront location along Årstaviken. The development includes a 27-story high-rise and a seven-story quay building, offering a total of 135 apartments. Five of these are exclusive premium apartments with generous spaces, timeless design, and spectacular views. The interiors are characterized by light, natural materials, and communal areas, and the building also features a shared rooftop terrace with an orangery – a space for both relaxation and socializing. On the ground floor, a restaurant and deli are planned, contributing to a safe neighborhood and vibrant street life.
Hundreds of new neighbors
Klövern has received approval to build approximately 450 new homes in Marievik. The project includes a completely new block of residential buildings, with ground floors dedicated to commercial spaces such as shops, restaurants, services, and a preschool. Parking garages for residents and local workers are planned beneath the buildings. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025, with move-in expected by 2030.

Close to city life and nature
Living in Marievik means being close to both the energy of the city and the tranquility of nature. Start your day with a walk along the quay, perhaps a morning swim in the floating bath, and continue with lunch in the sun by the water or a coffee in the park. Evenings offer culture, dining, and encounters with people – all within walking distance.
With Hornstull and Södermalm just minutes away, you’re always close to the city’s pulse, while Årstafjärden, green spaces, and the water are right outside your door. Marievik is now developing into a destination for food, culture, and sustainable living, where both residents and visitors can enjoy a vibrant urban environment from morning to night.
