History, light, and a waterfront location in Marievik
Next to the quay, Marieviksbadet, and the new park rises Parkhuset — a building with marine lines and a strong identity. Built between 2000–2003 by DOM Borowski Architects for the state-owned alcohol monopoly Vin & Sprit, known for Absolut Vodka, before the company was sold to Pernod Ricard in 2008. Today, Pernod Ricard remains one of the building’s largest tenants, alongside H&M, Sigma, and IFM Electronic.
The building is now entering a new chapter, with a central atrium and sustainable solutions that will carry it into the future.
A building with character and room for your future
Parkhuset offers eight floors and approximately 25,000 square meters of office space, flexible layouts, modern energy systems, and a new atrium that creates open, bright environments. Here, companies have everything they need to combine efficiency with inspiration.
Through the reuse of materials, careful climate calculations, and sustainable choices, Parkhuset is being developed with respect for its identity and with responsibility for the environment. The result is a building that meets tomorrow’s demands for functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability—without erasing its history.
DoTank – innovation and sustainability at the heart of Parkhuset
On the ground floor of Parkhuset, you’ll find DoTank Stockholm — a dynamic innovation environment that makes Marievik a place where the ideas of the future become reality. Here, companies, researchers, startups, and public actors come together to develop and test circular business models and sustainable solutions in retail, textiles, fashion, and urban development. It’s a creative hub that reflects the energy and forward-thinking spirit that defines Parkhuset as a whole.
DoTank builds on the success of Science Park Borås and has been established in Marievik to connect Stockholm’s urban life with the innovation power of western Sweden. Through workshops, prototype development, and business coaching, solutions are created here that can be implemented on a large scale, with the aim of accelerating the transition toward a circular society.
The initiative is part of a broader ecosystem in which CircularHub Stockholm — also located in Marievik — strengthens the focus on sustainable urban development. Together, these platforms give Parkhuset a unique position: an office building that not only offers modern workspaces but also acts as a catalyst for change and innovation.
